Pocklington cinema goes digital.  After months of planning the cinema was converted to digital last week in time for the screening of War Horse on Friday 17th February.  The old 35mm projector and equipment had to be dismantled and the new computer based technology installed in a time frame of two days.  After a little bit of nail biting over the delivery of parts everything was ready for the first showing on the Friday evening.  A capacity audience saw the much acclaimed film War Horse - many remarked how clear the film was and the sound was much improved.  Please pay a visit to see for yourself.  The conversion was jointly funded through the Town Council, the owners of the Arts Centre, the Arts Centre and the friends of Pocklington Arts Centre.
