Success for Michael Held in Local Election

On Thursday 25th October 2007 a by-election was held in Pocklington to choose a new member of the Town Council.  The vacancy was as a result of the resignation of Mark Waudby.

The result of the poll was as follows:

Howard Hawley 225 votes

Michael John Held 411 votes

Tony Marron 206 votes

 

The Town Mayor Cllr. Richard Bryon said: "We congratulate Michael on his success and look forward to working with him on the various and interesting projects Pocklington Town Council are  presently involved in".
