Pocklington Arts Centre

Formerly the Ritz cinema, Pocklington Arts Centre first opened it’s doors in April 2000. The Arts centre hosts a wide range of performances including film, music, drama, comedy, live theatre, workshops and exhibitions. Boasting first class facilities for showing the latest major films, a 200 seat theatre for live music, drama and comedy performances, Pocklington Arts Centre offers a varied programme of visual and performing arts to the local rural area.

The Pocklington Arts Centre is a small venue with a big reputation. Many well know comedians, actors and musicians have performed at the Arts Centre including, Sarah Millican, Clive James, Dave Gorman, Steve Harley, John Cooper Clarke, Midge Ure and Joan Armatrading.
