The Pocklington branch of the Royal British Legion organised the annual Remembrance Day Parade at Pocklington on Sunday 8 November 2009.  The parade was well attended being led by the Market Weighton Boys Brigade Band.  Captain Paul Pecker was in charge of the parade with wreaths being laid at the two memorials in the town.  A service of remembrance was held afterwards at Pocklington Methodist Church.
