Pocklington Town Council supports local water company
The Town Mayor toasts local businesses
Pocklington Town Council have agreed to use Hobson's Spring Water at their meetings from now on. The Mayor of Pocklington, Cllr. Richard Bryon, felt it was a positive way of supporting local businesses and urged all local people to do the same. The water is taken from a well in Regent Street where it is bottled. It has recently adjudged as 'spring water' because of its purity. The water is stocked by a number of local outlets including Pocklington Arts Centre.
