Richard Bryon presents the vouchers
On Tuesday 10th November 2009 the volunteers from the Greengrass Recycling Group received vouchers to spend locally as a small token for their sterling work with the group. During this season over 57 tonnes of greenwaste has been recovered from the Sherbuttgate Estate. The idea came from the Chairman of the group, Councillor Richard Bryon, who felt the vouchers should be spent locally rather than obtaining national gift vouchers.
