The overall winners

Every year Pocklington  in Bloom organises a front garden competition for the town.  This year the competition attracted nine entries which were all to a particulaly high standard.  The overall winner was Gina and Steve Campbell who have created a really impressive garden in Dolman Terrace (off Railway Street)  They received the rosebowl from the Yorkshire in Bloom judges who visited the town in early July.  Those awarded second and third were invited to the full council meeting held last week where the Mayor, Councillor Martin Cooper, presented them with certificates.
