Fizzy Izzies hold successful coffee morning for Pocklington in Bloom
Four young girls who have entered the Humberside Police Lifestyle 2008 competition under the name 'Fizzy Izzies' held a coffee morning in Sandstock Road on Friday 22nd August 2008 with the proceeds being donated for 'Pocklington in Bloom' funds. The girls Katie Collins, Grace Watson, Bethany Hardesty, Charlotte Piggott chose the 'Pocklington in Bloom' organisation to benefit because of the pleasure the flower displays give to residents in the town.
The event was well attended with everyone being 'Royally' fed and watered!
A marvellous total of £156.91 was raised so a big 'Thank You' goes to the ' Fizzy Izzies' Lifestyle team and all their helpers.
The Mayor of Pocklington, Councillor Jeff Shepherd, is to receive a cheque from the girls at the next council meeting on 10th September.
