Councillors look into the history of our War Memorials

Following a suggestion from the present Town Mayor, Cllr Richard Bryon, a group of councillors are presently looking into the background of the two war memorials in the town.  Councillors Martin Cooper, Graham Perry and Steve Elliott have started to research the origin of the memorials together with those listed on the memorials.  If you have any information on either the war memorials or those fallen heroes listed on them please contact Martin Cooper on 01759 306392.
