Council Elections Thursday 3rd May 2007

On Thursday 3rd may 2007 elections are to be held for positions on both East Riding of Yorkshire and Pocklington Town Councils.  Application packs for candidates are available from the customer service desk of Burnby Hall and Pocklington Town Council Offices in Goerge Street Pocklington. Qualifications include being a British Subject or  citizen of a European Union country, a resident of the parish or living within three miles of that parish, and to have attained the age of 18 on the day of nomination.  Nomination papers have to be received at County Hall by midday Wednesday 4th April 2007.   Anyone wanting to obtain further idetails is asked to contact the Town Clerk on 01759 304851.
