The 'Gadabout' community bus which as operated from Pocklington for a number of years has been taken over by 'Beverley Community Lift', an organisation which has been running for 35years.  It offers a caring and supportive voluntary service providing transport to the community of Beverley and the surrounding villages including Pocklington.  The modern 15 seater coach which is fitted with wheelchair access is available for hire by community groups or individuals at a modest cost.  Ring the Beverley Community Lift organisation on 01482 888226 for further information.
