Christmas Tress being shredded
The trees reduced to a shredded heap
On Saturday 30th January 2010 the thirty Christmas trees which were collected by the Greengrass Recycling Group were shredded at the site behind the household refuse site down Burnby Lane, Pocklington. A local tree surgeon, Tony Woodliffe, was employed to shred the trees with the resulting material forming part of the composted material which will be made into garden soil enhancer.
